The Canadian Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Association is an independent national body and non-profit association, governed by an elected board of directors and lead by Sensei Shane Yukio Higashi, 9-dan, Hanshi.

The Canadian Chito Ryu Karate-do Association is committed to understanding and propagating the karate-do of its founder O'Sensei Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose.  The membership includes Chito Ryu dojo (clubs) across Canada practising traditional Chito Ryu Karate-do.
